Someone channel me some willpower and inspiration on losing weight so I can feel the same as I did when I took that bottom photo. A 7lb gain may as well be 7st the way I feel about it.

I just found this in my archive. Just listened to it about 30 times.

Long time no blog! Long story short, I have gone from 9st8lbs, to 10st6lbs. Due to my all inclusive 2 weeks in Mexico, Christmas and New Year combined, I’ve managed to pack on a whooooole load of weight.
I’ve decided to give this new 5:2 (or the ‘fasting’ diet) plan a try. If you’re not familiar with it, you eat regularly (at least partly healthy) on 5 days, and then choose 2, non-consecutive days to eat no more than 500 cals. Fasting, in effect.
I’m intrigued as to the apparent health benefits. I have a lot of issues with my gut/bowels/stomach, and this ‘fast’ is supposed to help with a whole bunch of ailments, so we’ll see!

Have any of you done this 5:2 diet?

Got my fat lazy ass out of bed, re-joined a more expensive gym (motivation to go if I’m spending a lot more) which also has a pool, and I am BACK ON IT.
I’ve put almost a stone on, pretty disgusted in myself that I’ve let myself slip so far.. but weight gain is reversible, and I am prepared to throw myself back in it.

Anonymous asked: Hey, I've done SW sort of for about 9 months and have lost a stone. I've got stuck in a rut with it at uni thuogh and find buying the healthy food and all that quite expensive. I'd like to lose a stone quickly before christmas and I know you don't advocate diets but I am considering doing something like the cambridge diet as it's easier for me to plan. What did you do on it, did you have just 3 cambridge products? where did you buy it? thanks :)

Okay so although I don’t recommend it because it really is harsh, it IS a quick fix and good for shedding weight quickly. I will say though, I don’t know how I kept my weight off as I just came straight off it and you’re meant to do the steps down to come off it, but anyway! I was on the 810 plan, so I have 3 cambridge products a day, and a 200cal meal rich in protein (things like prawns, cottage cheese, chicken etc). I stuck to the the mint choc milkshake and the cinnamon porridge, but found all the soups tasted more of less the same. All the sachets are pretty vile, but the porridge is the worst, It’s made with water and tastes like glue but.. I threw as much extra spice as I could into it to make it taste better haha.
To buy it, you need to go on the CD website and find out where your nearest consultant is. Because it’s an ‘extreme’ diet, you can’t just buy it online and you have to be overweight (or very close to being so) for the consultant to let you on it.

I think that’s everything? Anything else, let me know xx

I used to dream about being a size 10, and now I am, but I still want to be smaller. It’s just not enough. It’s never enough.

So this looks rank, but it’s all free and also it’s like 3 of my favourite foods ever. Mushy peas, poached egg and mushrooms.

Anonymous asked: did you keep the weight off thoguh? and did you exercise on it?

I did, but I think I was a bit of a freak incident because I didn’t do the steps you’re meant to do to come off it, I literally just stopped the sachets and started eating normally again. My friend put her weight back on, as did most people I’ve spoken to who did that, so I don’t know :/ and no, but I walk literally EVERYWHERE, so that might have helped!

Anonymous asked: how much did you lose on cambridge? i'm about hal an inch - an inch taller than you but i'm like 11 stone 3, considering cambridge or sliming world

I lost 17lbs in just over 3 weeks. Do Slimming World. Cambridge is HARSH. It worked for me but honestly, 3 sachets of powder a day is torturous. Slimming World makes me feel incredible, so healthy and energetic, I just love it.

Anonymous asked: do you follow red or ee? how many syns a day do you aim for and what si your goal weight? :)

I do EE as I don’t eat meat apart from fish and chicken so it’s easiest for me to do that one and have one less B choice. I’ve actually already reached and passsed my initial goal (9st12lbs) but have just set myself a new one of 9st6lbs as I want to be able to put some weight on when I go on holiday in November!

EDIT: Oh and I try not to go over 10, though I’ve had 13 today.

Wednesday Sep 9 @ 06:22pm

Got up this morning and weighed 9st10lbs, HELL YEAH. I am pretty much back to the weight I was when I went to France. I love Slimming World.
